Confronted with the challenge of connecting with their target audience for the comic book adaptation of Jonah Hex, Warner Bros turned to Break Media to help build excitement around the movie debut through innovative Takeovers and Executions.

Execution

Break Media drove awareness and trailer views for Jonah Hex through a high impact Animated Homepage Takeover on Break.com.  This one-of-a-kind execution boasted Jonah Hex branding throughout the header and gutters, and encouraged users to “click to view the trailer”.  Upon clicking, a robust video overlay expanded across the screen delivering viewers an in depth experience.

To bring the Jonah Hex movie trailer to life, Break Media also created a custom Video Rumble Page that gave an unprecedented rich perspective into the film.
