Break Media on Your Device!

Name any platform, and Break content is currently or will be on it. That was our motto for 2010 as we reached out from the computer to deliver Break content to your living room and on the go.

In the last year, we’ve seen the mobile landscape grow from an iPhone-centric universe to a more competitive playing field with Android and WinPho7 poised to make huge gains in 2011 and beyond. Set top devices (like Roku and Boxee) and Internet-connected TVs have exploded in the last six months with new devices arriving almost weekly.

In 2010, we set out to deliver uniquely “Break” apps for each platform, building upon the Break.com Homepage videos and famous photo galleries already available. Users can upload content directly to Break through their mobile device, viewers can watch HD quality Break videos on their TVs, and Windows Phone users can now have a Break live tile.

We are excited to bring even more great features to the Break community in the coming year!

Since the launch of our free iPhone app at the beginning of 2010 to the release of our free Samsung app over the holidays, our platform user base has grown exponentially as we’ve made our content available across nine platforms ranging from Android to iPad to Plex.

We’re very excited that December 2010 has been our best month to date and we’re looking forward to an even bigger 2011.
